Funnier when the guy who writes the Titania McGrath tweets was writing his material

Re: Jonathan Pie
His live shows are very good.

Not quite what you'd expect if you've only seen his youtube clips. 1st show I saw was a massive tirade and piss take of lefty wokists.

The serious point being that they harm the causes, they claim to champion, by their wokist agenda.

Re: Jonathan Pie
He seems to have become pretty lefty himself?

Queens Fish Bar 4:21 Tue Nov 10
Re: Jonathan Pie
Thats the character he plays.

He is left leaning for sure, but like any half thinking person, doesn't just accept everything that other people on the same side of politics say.

IN the end you've got the horseshoe theory - so at the extremes its the same piss take and criticism. eg anti-semitism v islamaphobia - 2 cheeks on the same arse left and right.

Re: Jonathan Pie
I only discovered him the day after Trump won in 2016, and his rant then was excellent; much better than the video he’s just put out regarding Biden’s result.

like him, voice of normality really, sits in a central position and voices frustration with left and right mental fringes. must wind chilled up

Re: Jonathan Pie
Sits in a central position? He's said more than once on his Jonathan pie thing that he's a socialist

Andrew Lawrence is much funnier, PC Pisspot is superb.

He takes the piss out of everybody.

And Tits McGrath or Al-Bukkake are the best.

Re: Jonathan Pie
He's a SOCIALIST?

Burn him.

Now the 'free' world has had 4 years of Trump and our country is run by right-wing posh boys we wouldn't want a left-leaning comic character destroying this new Eden we've created for ourselves and our families, would we?

Mad Dog 12:33 Wed Nov 11
Re: Jonathan Pie
I only pointed out he's a socialist as someone said he was in the centre.

99.9 percent of all comedians and comedy shows on tv are extremely left leaning.

The news on BBC might claim to be impartial but its presenters (eg lineker) and all the "light hearted" shows dont even pretend to have anything to do with the middle ground.

Re: Jonathan Pie
Careful there Chim! you've been hoodwinked into a "lefty" rant - but I 100% agree with your point.

Jonathon Pie is no "Left-Wing" comedian, he's pretty balanced in my opinion and ridicules the woke brigade as much as he slags off the Right.

Same with Andrew Doyle - he's not right-wing in the slightest. His views are traditionally liberal, and the character Titiania McGrath stems from his frustration with how wrong Liberals have got it lately. The Regressive Left have shifted the goalposts so much in recent years, they've alienated decent traditionally Socialist people, exasperated centre-right people, and given fresh impetus to far-right wankers.

Personally, I don't undrestand the American Republican's fear of Socialism - I think maybe they just don't really understand the concept. It's almost as if their only experience of it is reading that wanker Swiss's ramblings on here.

I like him, seems pretty much spot on with most things he says, I don't go out of my way to watch his stuff though.

A mate of mine (©NS) did a load of portfolio shots of him and said he was a lovely bloke.

Re: Jonathan Pie
"Jonathon Pie is no "Left-Wing" comedian,"

Yes he is. His pie character claims openly to be a socialist (see his pre election videos)
And the man behind Jonathan pie also freely admits to being left win.

So if thr real person and the character both openly admit to being left, how on earth can you claim that he's centre.

Admittedly he's one of the few left wing comedians that will admit there are problems on the left but he is a left wing comedian.
